Pai gut, nice and meaty.

Deep fried shrimp ball (yeung hai kim) good but should have been hot.

Roast pork was okay.

Waited forever for pork blood at our meal, yet they have a whole vat here to-go.

Had been a while since we'd been to the old standby, NBC Seafood, and they did not disappoint. Well, they did disappoint, as the yeung ha kim (deep fried shrimp ball) were cold, cheung fun (rice noodle roll) didnot come out til the end of the meal, when we were already full-- and pork blood did not come out at all. However, just about all the rest were acceptable to very good to excellent, including a rare proper execution of har gow, with translucent skin and right number of folds.

Still, overall a very tasty meal, and we were pretty happy. Plus right next door is NBC Seafood's dedicated to-go dim sum counter, and they had a massive vat of pork blood all ready for us. Nom.

Throw in a visit to Sunright Tea Studio (for some), Half and Half (for others), and a solid afternoon of board games, and it was a good day. Add in California Chicken Cafe for dinner, and everyone was happy.
