San Francisco
After being judged by the cats, it was off to a new place for lunch, Mini Potstickers. Despite significant competition in the area, they stood out-- and drew raves from the group. Chicken and corn dumplings, jianbing, spicy wontons, pan fried mini-wontons (looked like mini-xiao long bao to me!) were all good to excellent. They're not large inside so was a bit of a wait, but not too bad.
1011 Sip Tea apparently has a cute Peanuts partnership going, but their oolong milk tea with grass jelly was not memorable, although it wasn't bad. Pineapple King Bakery, on the other hand, was amazing. Their pineapple buns are damned good, good enough that I may have to seek them out again on my next Bay Area visit.
Some Pokemon Go, some Minecraft, a bunch of walking around, I forget what else the afternoon entailed. Snacking on the legendary egg roll cookies from Duck Shing Ho in Hong Kong and some BBQ meats from Lam Hoa Thuan might also have been involved, then dinner (after much consideration of alternatives) was to-go from San Tung. San Tung was out of chow fun (nooooooooo!) but their chicken wings are legend. And after dinner, Simon busted out his limited-edition Star Wars drink stuff. Bantha tooth cups and a hyperspace fuel set. Way cool, and proof Simon is a significantly bigger Star Wars nerd than I am!
