Brisbane
Bread pudding for breakfast was loaded instead of what's on the menu, but it was still decent enough. Wandered the back of the plane-- I think all of 3 (was it 5?) seats were taken in Premium Plus (premium economy) and I think less than 60 in economy (or was it even less?). 14 hours and 1 minute/7,176 miles later, arrived to a small welcoming committee on in Brisbane, then a quick train ride to the hotel.
Filled in the hot (and eventually very rainy) day with lunch, some work, and a nice run along the river... at least til I got caught in the torrential wind and rain. Lunch at Fat Noodle failed to live up to the hype, although the potstickers and shu mai were skippable, and the daily special (soft shell crab-topped chicken pad thai) wasn't much better. The regular menu items, tho, looked decent enough to perhaps be worth a return?
Post-deluge, post-dry-off, post-run meal was at Sul.zip for their kim chi and pork belly stew. Was very basic but definitely hit the spot after getting soaked and blown around earlier in the evening.
