Day full of fooding begain with Japanese souffle pancakes at Fluff Stack. Fluff Stack actually manages a bit more structural integrity than some of their competitors-- you can cut your pancakes without reducing them to a collapsed mess-- and the mango was oh-so-good. Went a few halls over to Yew Kee Specialties for a kway chap plate that was basic but did the job, plus Yew Kee Specialties had a nice view of the fountain at the very center of Suntec City. Wrapped up lunch in the Food Republic food court at Suntec City Mall, with Capitol Noodle's bak chor mee. Again not the best, but definitely hit the spot.
More wandering found the newly refreshed Tesla Model 3 at the showroom in Millenia Walk (short version: looks good), then relaxed at the hotel til dinner.
Dinner was a random meetup with one of United's most famous flight attendants at Newton Circus. Not the best food there either, but watching the hardcore locals eat under a tarp during a rainstorm was impressive (impressive dedication, that is!). Fishball noodle soup from San Ren was pretty good, with massive fishballs, while an order of har gow and xiao long bao from another stall were, well, adequate. Add in some grilled shrimp and it was fun having a quick brush with a Facebook celebrity.
