After the past few days of gluttony, started off the morning with oatmeal and yogurt from the Residence Inn by Marriott's breakfast buffet, then off to the disaster that was UC Tech badge pickup. Amazon brought out pretty much our entire account team to UC Tech for what was a successful Birds of a Feather that morning, followed by a much smaller but equally intense audience at the Quarterly meeting of UC Community of Practice for Storage and Backup Birds of a Feather in the afternoon. The UC-wide user experience designer (UX) group also did a great workshop in-parallel with UC Tech.
Lunch was very so-so at Sizzling Lunch, fortunately Top Dog after was much better (and cheaper!). After finishing the rest of the afternoon sessions-- no comment on quality or BS we might have been fed-- went to Thomas Trappler's retirement party at Study Hall Rooftop Lounge at the Residence Inn by Marriot, then down to the 3rd floor for the main welcome reception.
