A second picturesque sunrise to go with the hotel's generous breakfast spread before heading to the airport. Debated doing some more sightseeing, but logistically without a car that was a tad difficult given the hotel's location.
O. R. Tambo International Airport puts just enough effort into the architecture to be worth a few minutes extra. The pre-security (landside) in-terminal airport brewery and steakhouse has decidedly sub-par steaks that are par for the course for airport food, but it was better than the bleak choices that were post-security in the international terminal.
Then it was back into the airplane for 15 and a half hours. Economy bulkhead seat felt less comfortable than the economy exit row seat on the way out, and the gruel felt even worse.
