Ohio: October 2020
Not only did we see Joel's new car, we caught him for lunch at his new(ish) pad. t'was great to catch up, play with his new dog Chewie, and just hang out!
Work called, tho, so Erik and I headed out, stopping by Mohican-Memorial State Forest/Mohican State Park on the way back to Erik's place to soak in the fall colors. Perhaps a bit early for the full depth of colors, but it was a fun little stop. Joel also recommended Der Dutchman, which was a restaurant/bakery/tourist trap right off the freeway. With COVID-19 we skipped a meal, but it was still worth a few minutes.
Got back to Cleveland around dinnertime. Ty was very excited to see us, and Erik's wife Dawn made a superb apple crumb. Not to knock Der Dutchman, but obviously homemade apple crumble is waaaaaay better!
