Sawtelle
Decided to grab lunch on Sawtelle after my last mileage run, stopping by the newly-opened Son Dogos y Tacos for a loaded hot dog and a surf and turf taco. Wasn't at all sure what I was getting into; turns out the ribeye taco was actually quite a bit of food. The surf and turf taco seemed to use the same chopped ribeye as the hot dog, and both were quite good, although the taco was not quite as photogenic as the hot dog. Combined with the guacamole they generously included, it was a very ample meal, was glad I did not order a second taco.
Short walk over to the former Sunright Tea Studio, now Jam Jam Tea and Moments. Rok for matcha was right next door and bustling, but decided Jam Jam was overdue a visit. Their gardenia oolong milk tea is solid, although with so much competition it's hard to say if I would go back for it.
