Lunch at Bruin Bowl Malatang, errr, Big Bowl Malatang. I don't know why the steamed rice here is always so terrible, but the malatang is almost always on-point. They don't seem to carry pork blood as much these days, but they have beef tripe, which is always nom nom nom.
All you can eat Korean BBQ the next day at Wi Korean BBQ. Chose this place again because of the quality and value, which are quite good for AYCE kbbq, and because they have beer towers-- although Neal was a last minute cancelation, so in the end we skipped the beer towers. Still had a great turnout from the team, with MJ, Kennet, Madison, Jerry, Joy, Jason, and others making it out, and the galbi here in particular, especially the marinated Woo The Galbi, remains excellent. Parking was a bit more busy this time but still had enough spaces for it to not be an issue as well.
