Westchester Farmers' Market near LAX is open on Sundays, and while quite small, they are a nice addition if you're already in the area. They're a decent walk from LAX but not too bad, although said walk is made more annoying by LAWA redoing the approach roadways into and out of LAX, and unnecesarily shutting down a bunch of the pedestrian access. *grumble*
Once you get to the farmers' market, there's a smallish collection of food vendors, and a slightly larger one of produce and finished goods. Bao Bao Express' har gow, shu mai, and xiao long bao are all pretty meh, but they sure beat not having them at all. Onimon's handrolls are better than meh, more average, and not cheap, but again, not a bad addition to a farmers' market. Onimon and Bao Bao Express both do other items but as I have limited stomach space, could only try so many things-- and no space to try other vendors.
Dinner that night was at Pine Tree Korean BBQ. Their kbbq is a shadow of the better places in k-town, but for AYCE kbbq in the area, they're not bad. However, went for their dolset bibimbap, which while similarly not memorable, definitely hit the spot. Banchan is limited and it took a few minutes, but considering everyone orders kbbq, needing some extra time to heat up the stone bowl makes sense.
