London
E Pellicci's is a proper Italian hole-in-the-wall that is popular with tourists and locals alike, and they do a mean full English breakfast. The version with extra meat in particular is crazy big, and the host has the perfect personality to handle all the foreigners he gets. Ended up on the tiny patio which was probabky more fun than being crammed (yes, crammed) inside, although inside was probably fine as well.
Wandered a bunch with Sam afterwards (as his better half had to work), some fun teas at Postcard Teas, then time to fly home. The United Club at London Heathrow is starting to feel its age, as its beautiful renvation a few years ago is actually now getting on in years. However it's still pretty nice for an ordinary UC, and the section reserved for Global Services is nice and quiet.
Went for the salmon on the return flight, quite a decent portion, and reasonable in quality. Sadly the rest of the aircraft was sub-par, with the storage cubby and the divider between the seats both being only somewhat functional. Felt even worsr for my seatmate as his seat had even more issues. Still, had a safe flight, and that's what matters.
