Photo roundup
Bunch of random photos to kick off the new year. Galbi plate for lunch at Gushi isn't cheap, but the quality is still pretty good, and the rent business have to pay in Westwood is obscene, so I consider it a fair value. Well worth the occasional visit, or even more than occasional, if time and budget allow.
Next, lunch during a quick Sacramento visit was at Boiling Ave near Cal Expo. Unlike some of their competitors, which pre-cook the individual hot pot before serving, here your individual hot pot comes raw, so make sure you have time for a long lunch so everything can boil as you eat. It's pretty delicious, and quite affordable, although holy cow the pots come very full-- have to carefully eat a few items out of it first (as they cook) until you no longer have to worry about spilling.
Came back to work the next and a bit of drought. Maybe my coworkers are all really dead-set against tap water as well? At least two of us escaped the drought and hit up Danny Boy's Pizza for lunch, which was, as is customary, quite good. Easily one of the better casual places to grab a slice in the area, and the price is very affordable as well.
Finally, Mom and Dad's cooking for dinner. w00t!
