Hong Kong
While Singapore for Christmas is always fun, with some time left in the holidays, decided to squeeze in a Hong Kong mileage run. Or to be accurate, two of them, since work is getting busier and the holiday closure dates didn't align well with my other travel ideas. With time on my hands to go somewhere for a day or two, but not really time for any serious exploration of a new places, decided to say heck with it and just focus on flying instead.
Days 1/2: the morning departure from Los Angeles to Hong Kong on United 152, then checking out the new historic Hong Kong exhibit inside the airport after UA 152's evening arrival.
Day 3: full day of exploring in Hong Kong before returning home on the evening flight, UA 821, HKG-LAX.
Day 4: not quite a true double turn, one night in the USA before running back catch UA 152 again, LAX-HKG.
Day 5: immediate turn in Hong Kong from UA 152 to UA 821 left just enough time to hit Chicha San Chen and McDonald's at Hong Kong International Airport for some local snacks before heading home to end the trip.
