Fooding
With Helms Bakery closing in a week, decided to finally visit-- only made it a bit too late, the bakery was already cleaned out. So ended up at HomeState instead, where breakfast tacos and flour tortillas are... okay? They lack the awesomeness of breakfast burritos, but I guess they try to make up for it with variety. The patio is nice on a warm sunny day at least?
Wonder Cha is a modest walk away, they clearly put a lot of care into the quality of their drinks. Taro milk tea was very good, will have to return again to try more of the menu.
Finally, ended up at Pinches Tacos with coworkers. Always good to catch up, especially with Tim, who is now retired and exploring the world.
