There was a very artisinial presentation of one of the platters.

Beef tartare hand roll was a lot of rice. Beef tartare itself was okay.

Madison's birthday at the very delicious Moohan Korean BBQ-- one of the few buffet/all you can eat places that seems to balance both the buffet experience and quality, at least with the middle-tier $60 "prime" menu. Some have a buffet a bit too industrial/casual/quantity-based, but this was delicious, complete with a fancy dry ice presentation with one of the meat-to-order plates, and lots of quality brisket, steak, galbi, and pork jowl. Well worth it, down to the touch scren ordering, and great ventilation as well. I think they had parking validation too, but we didn't plan that far.

Rolled ice cream for dessert after at Holy Roly; quite tasty and fun. Haven't been to a rolled ice cream place in a while, but the menu at this one seemed reasonable in size, they were able to make our orders without too long a wait, and it was a great way to end the night. Happy Birthday Madison!
