Got up early to go for a long run, 5 miles slow to Santa Monica, then the Santa Monica Classic 10K for the second part of the morning long run at a slightly faster pace-- 56:01 (9:01/mile) chip, 56:13 (8:55/mile) GPS. Can't complain given the lack of training, although the turn-around at mile 5 was a bloody mess, not sure why they dropped the ball there. At least the weather was good, sunny but not too warm so early.
Randomly saw a Faraday Future FF 91 (as well as a Hummer EV with manufacturer's plates, then later a brand-new Ford Ranger Raptor) on the post-race stop, lunch with Justin, Michelle, and Randy at Raffi's Place. Portions are generous, the crowd is managable if you show up early (before 12:00pm), and it was great to catch up with Justin and Michelle!
