Finally checking out new LAX/Metro train station.

Need to do a proper visit later.

Menu at the Polaris Dining Room at LAX.

Tortilla soup was okay.

Crab cucumber salad was nice in theory, a bit too generic in reality.

Add in buratta caprese salad.

Korean grilled chicken was okay. See a theme?

Polaris Lounge buffet at SFO. At least the shrimp were large.

Salad and shrimp did the trick.

Fried cod was okay, meaty but not too memorable.

Uneventful set of flights for my first visit to the Philippines. Finally stopped by the new LAX/Metro transit center on the way to the airport as well-- will have to properly explore it some other time. Had a stylish but indifferent meal at United Airlines' Polaris Lounge Dining Room at LAX, it seemed like the chef remembered style but forgot about taste? The meal at United Airlines' Polaris Lounge buffet at SFO wasn't any better, but at least the shrimp were plump, and it's hard to go wrong with shrimp and butter.

Had an excellent crew on United flight 189, salad and appetizer were good, fried cod was meaty but like my two previous meals today, not particularly memorable.
