San Francisco
Kicked off the weekend with Pokemon Go raiding and tackling the massive mound of leftovers from the previous day. We actually did a good job on the leftovers, especially with Amy's help after she got back from her race. Although to be fair, with both pies and birthday cake, we had probably too much sugar.
Somewhere in there, the Pokemon Go players realized it was getting dark and they were getting hungry, so it was off to a fourth new place (to us) for the trip, Superior Palace. Like Dumpling King, they were not particularly memorable, even if the food was good.
Sizzling rice soup hit the spot, beef/mushrooms/veggies didn't quite; the chicken wings here too were excellent. Pea sprouts were decent enough, while the fried rice was more than adequate, but quite forgettable. The house special chow mein was very good; if ordering only one dish here, would order that one again.
Finally, after dinner, some board games. Flip 7 is fun and easy to learn, yet brutal and competitive enough that we actually saw one of the worst possible hands dealt tonight. Fun times!
