Another tasty breakfast at the hotel, then a mixed bag lunch at North Market. Hot Chicken Takeover uses a quality recipe but unfortunately small chicken legs, which is a problem most of their competitors also share.
This marked the last day of PEARC25 as well, so after the conference, met up with Joel and his family the rest of the day. Full on sole proprietor and Dad life for Mr. Moore (Esq)., but at least he has a fully loaded minivan after giving up his sports car for the family, and having me over gave him an excuse to go get ethnic food for dinner-- Awadh by Chef Anand does a very decent Indian buffet.
Breakfast the next morning was a very pretty smoked chicken hash, although it wasn't my thing. Spent the day working from the hotel room, then off to join Aunt Julie for dinner at Arch City Tavern. Arch City Tavern is very typical for an Ohio bar, maybe a bit more fashionable given its location in Short North, and the value at happy hour is excellent. Followed up the light dinner and drinks with a stop for Korean corndogs at Myungrang Hot Dog, where the squid ink and mozzarella was more for show than anything; dominated by the breading and cheese, not much hot dog inside.
