The little wooden box is quite nice.

International Food Creations' beef noodle soup at the Westwood Farmers' Market.

Tastes okay, cut of beef is wrong, and it's expensive as hell.

But for Westwood it does the job.

Tamales from Jumbo Tamales are a good deal.

International Food Creations does sushi burritos too?

Prosciutto arugola is mostly good, crust was just okay but might be really interesting if done extra crispy.

Inaugural flight swag from United Airline's inaugural flights from Tokyo Nartia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongola, on 1 May 2025 and the return inaugural on 2 May 2025.

Plus some random food photos: Westwood Farmers' Market has an overpriced beef noodle soup/dim sum/Chinese noodle stall, and the same stall owners did sushi burritos for a Nisei Student Union event on the UCLA campus the same day. The sushi burritos were nothing special, but they did the job, like the beef noodle soup earlier. Jumbo Tamales at the farmers' market are always good if basic.

Throw in a decent pizza a day or so later from KBella Pizza in Culver City-- they have a lot promise with some fresh, quality ingredients, but the crust disappointed me. I suspect ordering the pizza cooked extra-crispy might have saved it so am kind of tempted to go back...
