Malta
Sticking to the continuous coastal urban area for today's exploration, we went down to The Seafood Market in Gzira for lunch. Turned out to be a pretty generic seafood grill type of place (could have plopped The Seafood Market outside of any big strip mall in the USA without anyone noticing), but at least it was good to get out of St. Julian's.
On the walk back to the hotel, made two stops-- Brillace Cafe's second location is tiny, while not too much further down the road is Loaf. Loaf was a tad bigger than Brillace Cafe, but still downright tiny, although they did have a proper drip coffee for Tiff (unlike Starbucks a few days ago...). Our walking route took us a bit more inland so the crowds were a bit less, and consequently, the narrow sidewalks were slightly less of an issue until we hit the coast again closer to St. Julian's Bay.
Nearing the end of our week in Malta, started to run low on ideas for food at the hotel. The pork belly salad had massive pieces of pork belly that were (very sadly) overcooked.
