Singapore
Straight from Malta to Singapore, just long enough a layover to go home and drop off luggage/dirty clothes for fresh.
The United Club at SFO had an unusually decent pastrami sandwich in addition to the usual so-so noodle bar, then squeezed in a last-minute upgrade as Carl decided to upgrade to Polaris (I got his Premium Plus seat). Turns out Carl's friend Kathie was with us on the flight, and Kathie, as a Global Services, managed to get Carl's upgrade through (woot!).
Mid-flight, because Carl, got some tapas. The chicken and rice from SFO is not nearly as good as the one from Singapore, but can't complain-- sure beats economy food.
