Final planned trip of the season to Mammoth. Ended up at the casino in Bishop for dinner; TukNovie has a prety solid prime rib dinner special on weekends for $23.95, which is a damned good deal for the quality. Original plan was to go to Mahogany Smoked Meats or to Great Basin Bakery for sandwiches, but both were closed by 5pm. Oops.

The Chen-Wu family arrived a bit later than we did to Mammoth, and the next morning when everyone woke up, we found one surprise-- bagel sandwiches for breakfast at the Westin instead of croissant sandwiches. The bagels weren't toasted, which was meh (they would be toasted on later mornings), but was still a nice change.

Wrapping up the weekend, someone had a kitchen accident and produced a bunch of smoke, so after a solid day of skiing on Sunday, a quick visit to the hot tub after beating my legs up on moguls all day, we all ended up standing outside while they verified the hotel was safe to re-enter. At least we lucked out, Chris was making adobo, and that can sit on the stove just fine. *whew*
