February 2025: Day 1: Arrival

Room 629 is one of three penthouse (luxury 2 bedroom) units.

Master bathroom.

Master bedroom.

Second bedroom.

Prepping dinner.

Wasabi Kit Kats have only a faint hint of wasabi.

Decor and furniture in this one seems a bit different than the other two.

Lucas likes Sushi Go.

Chris' shrimp and chicken curry.

Room 629 is an ADA-accessible unit.

Second trip of the season to Mammoth... did not recall any of the penthouse 2 bedroom units being all that different, but this one (room 629) had an unusual bench in the entry way, some different wall finishes, a smaller wall-mounted coat hanger in the entry way, no bench for the dining table (all chairs)...? Maybe because it is an ADA-accessible unit, complete with one of two full bathrooms having a roll-in shower?

Aside from the room differences, the drive up was pretty ordinary, and as Chris likes to, he did the cooking, filling us up with a shrimp and chicken curry that everyone liked except Lucas.
