Did not leave Los Angeles in time to beat the evening's snow on the drive into Mammoth, which actually got pretty significant as we left Bishop and did the final part of the drive into Mammoth. Not as bad as two years ago, but still gave Chris all the more justification for his Tacoma 4x4?

Managed to make it to Copper Top BBQ in Big Pine for dinner before they closed for the evening. The Big Pine Platter feeds two people, although not if they're super hungry. Pulled pork and pork ribs were pretty good, the tri-tip was excellent, the sausage was a bit bland compared to the usual.
