Contrasting morning and evening in Fairbanks over the partially frozen Chena River, a very, very decent but not spectacular pad pla dook (spicy catfish) at the surprisingly well-done Bahn Thai, and a stroll around downtown in the relatively balmy 22 degree F weather ending by an impressively sized polar bear crafted out of snow.
