Aleks decided to mix up picnic locations this year, booking Cheviot Hills Recreation Center instead of one of our usual locations in Torrance. Turns out Cheviot Hills is a pretty nice place too!
As usually too much food, even without a whole roast pig this time around. Tons of SSCERT alumni showed up, including Carlos, Carlos, Caroline, G.J., Kai, Mike, Mike, Michelle, Michelle, Siva, Tam, and I am sure more than a few others. (and no, no typo's in this list...). Friends of SSCERT included two of Mike's former UCLA Staff Assembly Past Presidents, Michelle and Lucy-- and of course, apologies to anyone I missed! Special guest appearances included Associate Dean Q, Dean Valenzuela, Dean Valenzuela's assistant Andra. Caroline's spam musubi were, in particular, specifically requested by the Dean. Thanks all for coming, and for a great time!
