Took advantage of the slightly shorter workday before the Independence Day holiday back home to do the resort's free monkey tour, which consisted of guests signing waivers, hopping behind the wheel of golf carts, and then following a guide around. Should have called it the golf course tour, or maybe the how-to-drive-a-golf-cart lesson as that's exactly where the tour was. Just one kind of monkey here, the green monkey, but was nice to get a little preview of where Tiff would be playing golf tomorrow.

esQuilina, the breakfast location, is currently open only one day a week (Wednesdays) for dinner, so we made the time to go there for dinner. Chicken souvlaki for Tiff, bouillabaisse for me, and of course, big smiles and happy tummies everywhere after dessert, including the dramatic lava tiramisu (and yes, next time, less photos, more eating!).

Pool time on the holiday, fresh snapper cevihe for lunch, and while I think they were intended for kids, Tiff still managed to score a monkey stuffed animal from a passing employee on the holiday weekend. *grins*
