Calgary
The original schedule from United involved a little over seven hours in Calgary, which would have meant a decent night's sleep at the Marriott in-terminal hotel. With the delay, I think I ended up with just over an hour of sleep. Ugh.
I was unfortunately mistaken, I thought today's flight was the return inaugural YYC-LAX, but apparently that was the day before, hence absolutely zero fanfare today. At least the US PreClearance facility at Calgary International Airport finally has Global Entry kiosks so you no longer need to bring your physical card to get in, and it's a large and pleasant enough facility to hang out it, although food options are not memorable.
Return flight was nice and smooth onboard an Airbus A320 with the old interior, but I wasn't complaining given how sleep deprived I was.
