Austin's 1st birthday was a packed affair with family and friends. Ryan and Michelle hosted due to the rain, Trandrew and TiffA had all their friends over too, and it was generally a fun time all around, for kids and adults alike. Swing set, bounce house, video games, and even a catered taco bar in the garage.

Pre-party lunch was at Marden's Chicken Rice on Sawtelle. Chef Simon Tan literally cooks out of his apartment, and he does some pretty damned good Hainanese chicken rice. A few other items that look good too, but only had stomach space for the Hainan chicken rice as I had to save space for Austin's birthday party right after!
