Sulga House of Beef Bone Soup is a bit further north than I usually go in ktown, but their prime rib soup is pretty damned good, and their buchimgae (pancake) is substantial and tasty too. Cap it off with some excellent ban chan and it's a great stop, at least if you can find parking. Royal Lobster across the street was kind of tempting for next time...
More coffee/dessert type stuff closer to the usual k-town haunts for me, at Coin du Rue and Cafe De Mama. The former is more of a classic Korean-American bakery with pastries and desserts and cakes, including a very decent taro bun. Plus the have underground parking (!) in addition to a substantial patio. Right next door is Cafe De Mama, where black sesame lattes, mochi lattes, and a persimmon milk are all pretty good. A few other drinks looked good as well (pomegrante hibiscus?) looked good too, but skip the croffles. The croissant-waffle, at least in red bean, walnut, and cream cheese form, was kind of dense, just right on sweetness, but ultimately not very interesting except as an efficient purveyor of sugar and carbs for nutrition rather than taste. At least the croffle was affordable at only $6...
