Singapore
Hot and humid weather plus a bit of rain meant another leisurely stroll around Singapore, through Parliament and eventually ending up at Jumbo Seafood for another trademark Singaporean dish, chili crab. They did an excellent job with everything, but particularly the morning glory with sambal, followed closely by the chili crab and also the fried buns. The mocha pork ribs were also perfectly balanced fatty and meaty and delicious, but they clearly are not a trademark dish like chili crab.
Did some mall crawling afterwards, at Millenia Walk, Marina Square, and Suntec City Mall. Don Don Doki has a large grocery store location, and Daiso also got its fair share of attention. Nothing too crazy for dinner, but after all the shopping and the heat and humidity, was nice to lay low and take advantage of the executive lounge at the hotel.
