Days 0 and 1: Flying
Day 2: Marina Bay
Day 3: Fooding
Day 4: Return
Singapore
Got hungry for bak kut teh and bak chor mee, and that meant it was time to head to Singapore. Decided to book one of the best views in Singapore for the weekend as well, and since said best view has some of the best dim sum in Singapore, why not book that as well.
Days 0 and 1: first loser on the upgrade list, but Premium Economy on United, while not pretty, wasn't too awful, and the late departure meant good timing to sleep on the 16 hour, 11 minute flight to Singapore.
Day 2: morning arrival in Singapore, breakfast at Jewel Changi, dim sum at Summer Pavilion (Michelin 1*), and enjoying the views of Marina Bay both from the Ritz-Carlton as well as directly on the bay.
Day 3: Japanese souffle pancakes at Fluff Stack lead off fooding at Suntec City Mall, then catching friends for dinner at Newton Circus.
Day 4: exploring Changi Airport's holiday celebrations and brand-new digital waterfall ("Wonderfall") before the slightly-less-long flight home.
