LAX-C is like a Thai grocery version of Costco at the end of downtown Los Angeles' Chinatown. It's actually quite impressive!
But really, I was there for the two food stands outside, Mae Ting's Coconut Cakes (and BBQ, and papaya salad...) and Phuket Noodle. Both were quite tasty, although I sort of regret not getting BBQ at Mae Ting's. Their som thum (papaya salad) was legit down to the tiny dried shrimp, and Phuket Noodle's tom yum also hit the spot.
Neither menu is particularly expansive but definitely enough to justify another visit or two in the future.
