GG Kitchen
Not quite sure what the big deal is about the "Roman"-style pizza at GG Kitchen. Their "About Us" story is some unverifiable spiel about two friends, "Giovanni and Giulio", who have been friends forever, and implies they met in LA 40 years later and decided to start a ghost kitchen-based restaurant.
GG is also short for Goop Gourmet, as in Goup Gourmet Kitchen, which seems equally likely a meaning to me.
In any case the crust was on the lighter side, but it wasn't particularly flavorful, and the proscuitto was not really cut, which was annoying. The crudo pizza (prosciutto & burrata) in the end was just okay. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the pinsa crust? Definitely was not a fan of the presentation either; the pizza is a decent size but it's served in an overly large box so the first impression is not great either.
