Cake donuts are the current fad, and Holey Grail definitely appeals to the more gourmet end, particularly in presentation. They're not super crazy sweet (at least relative to Duck Donuts, which was way too much for me). Not sure they do anything for me but the more traditional glazed type ones definitely tasted okay, and the fancier ones in the tasting box were mostly very pretty.
