Mammoth
Got in a few last runs in the morning up and down High Five Express, then was time to pack up and head home.
Apparently in the past week, the charger I'd used in Coso Junction had broken and was still not repaired, so definitely had some added stress on the way home. Opted to top off in Bishop even though that was only 43 miles from Mammoth because of the lack of charging options between Bishop and Inyokern-- and leaving Bishop with a full charge would given the option of pushing all the way to Mojave if the charger in Inyokern was also broken (or full). Turns out the charging stop in Bishop (and lunch break at Schat's) was worth it-- was able to push all the way to Mojave.
29% battery after 170 miles of driving to Mojave meant I wasn't going to make it much further, but at least charging between Mojave and Los Angeles is pretty accessible. The Chargepoint station in Mojave was completely empty and was able to charge at 44kW, which seems to be about as good as this pathetic Chevy Bolt EUV is capable of in the real world. 30 minutes of charging (21kWh) also was enough to get all the way home.
Final bit of mention of the trip was a stop for dinner at Jin Cook in Santa Clarita. Unexpectedly decent Korean food sure beat sitting in traffic. Not the best galbi tang, but good enough to not complain.
