Colossal burger: fat burger with pastrami.

They have at least 4 cats living upstairs (3 shown here).

Split the colossal burger-- was about the right amount of food considering dinner was in less than 4 hours.

This Nissan Altima (L32) has old Maxima (A32) SE 16" wheels on it.

Not sure it looks good, but hey, it's unique.

Rare visit from Pearl. Lots of fooding today before she ran off to other fooding plans the next day!

Colossus burger at Hawkins' House of Burgers was the kind of local-in-the-hood burger that hits just right when you're in the mood for it. Definitely not an every day thing. Plus they have a bunch of cats who live upstairs. Aki Shabu for an early dinner, wasn't the best shabu, but for all you can eat it works. And oddly for a Tuesday they were deserted-- only one other customer the whole time we were there. Wrapped up fooding adventures at Anku a few blocks away, with some excellent taiyaki ($10 for 4 full-sized ones!) and an amazing pat bing su. Okay maybe amazing is too strong, but it was damned good!
