Another weekend, another baby shower-- this time Andrew and TiffA's. Clearly a different vibe, instead of chill and relaxed outdoors with tons of small children running around, they had few small children on a very rainy day, plus lots of games/challenges for the adults. Looked like great fun for everyone, especially with the teenagers now old enough to compete with the adults-- congrats to BK pushing Bee down to the wire in the final game (!). Also great to see a bunch of coworkers in person, since it'd been forever since we got this many of us together (aka boooooo on this never-ending pandemic).

Early dinner after at AYEE Rice Noodles Roll. The full-sized portions (as opposed to dim sum-sized) portions were substanial-looking, although the cheung fun had super thin skins that actually soaked up too much sauce if you let them sit at all. Naturally I took pictures and even that was enough for the flavor to become unbalanced. The pei dan sau yuk jook was legit, tho, as were the clearly not legit pirated movies on TV.
