Fooding
Tuk Tuk Thai's new digs on Sawtelle seemed quiet every time I'd passed by, but clearly they have a crowd as they filled up not long after I walked in right after New Year's. Tom yum soup with seafood and the som thum (also with seafood) were both very good-- the som thum in particularly definitely hit the spot. Chicken wings were meh but that's okay, they're allowed a miss.
Dinner a few days later with some fellow UCLA Geography graduates at Farsi Cafe. Best described as solid, although Tuyen's ashe reshteh (I think that's what it was) was definitely the start of the show. Nick wasn't quite as impressed with his food, neither was I, although everything did the job.
