The day of flying to Argentina isn't the longest-- not by far-- but something about it definitely dragged. In-flight catering on United has gone from "cat barf" to merely "looks like cat barf" so that's an improvement. I then made a nearly-fatal mistake of going to Landry's on my layover in Houston, where the meal was even worse than the worst crap on United. Landry's at IAH is apparently nicknamed the "Priority Pass cafeteria" for a reason, only the food is worse than cafeteria food.
The IAH-EZE redeye did the job. The salmon was not impressive, but again, things have improved. In retrospect I should have eaten a proper meal at the Polaris Lounge and then slept as much as possible, as the actual in-flight time is under 10 hours, which, subtracting take-off and landing and whatnot, is just adequate for a good night's sleep.
At least in-flight hot towels have returned?
