Fooding
Had been too long since we'd had kbbq at work, so was time to go again on a quick mid-week food outing Sadly Gangnam Station was not good, but still fun to get the group together and try a new place. Buffet-style for the ban chan and pork belly kind of warned us, but the galbi quality wasn't very good either. To be fair the beef tongue and some of the seasoned rib meats were solid.
Breakfast the next day at The Serving Spoon. Definitely a legit American breakfast, plus it's convenient. The original desire from out of town guests was for dim sum, but, uhhh, yeah, that wasn't going to happen on a working day for everyone.
Finally over the weekend, lunch with Dr. Hamdan and Dr. Wang. Din Tai Fung is pricey but always good, with their uniquely delicate xiao long bao, surprisingly light and airy fried rice, beautiful spicy cold cucumber, tasty string beans, and of course, the spicy won tons are nom nom nom. And good to catch up with them before they move!
