Crowd seemed to be half Hawaiian, which was impressive.

Shoyu ahi poke was gross. Tasted mostly of soy sauce and not much else.

Outside, for being the frontage of an industrial park, was actually surprisingly nice.

Aunty Maile's Hawaiian has an amazing crowd, felt like it was majority Hawaiian ex-pats/native Hawaiians. And the chicken katsu and some other stuff looked amazing-- but sadly I was in a rush so I went for the poke, which was a sad, sad mistake. Dinner that night was hanging out with Dr. Bauch at Strikezon and Wako Donkatsu, which is a classic for tonkotsu. As much as I missed having the chicken katsu for lunch, it meant I didn't feel guilty about having pork tonkotsu for dinner!
