May 2022: Day 4: Vestmanna Sea Cliffs

Back to my noisy "coworkers."

Sure beats my usual windowless office.

Sunny evening, Drangarnir and Tindholmur in the distance, local livestock at the front door.

Perhaps the most underwhelming part of the trip. Vestmanna's cliffs are cool to see, the sea caves you sail through are actually pretty awesome, and you get a very, very brief glimpse of a puffin colony, but as far as time spent, it was probably the most short of the hype. Maybe a private trip might take more time to linger at these spots and let you appreciate it better, but standard tour sure doesn't.

Like any other day driving around the Faroes, many of the small towns and roadside turn-outs had great views. The sun came out while passing through Sandavagur, and the color palette they prefer here made it almost criminal not to stop and take a few pictures. Seemingly as an added bonus for being cloudy earlier, the evening sun kept up all the way back to the AirBnB and made for a brilliant landscape.
