etta
Bold flavors, modern stylish promising atmosphere and hinting at privacy, etta is probably a great place to take a date.
If you're not on a date, tho, then it's pretty spendy and honestly hard to justify given they have equally tasty competition for less right down the block.
Persimmon buratta is lovely and cheesy, it practically begs for more persimmon and mint. Pork jowl with lightly pickled vegetables is a bit small given the price, but as an appetizer it's appropriate and yet another balance of flavors that works out. Finally the bolongese is the most bold of the seasoning. Works but being served on tagliatelle might have been better? Was mostly pleased with the meal til I got the bill. o_0
