As far as Chinese-Peruvian food goes, Chifa is perfectly serviceable. The decor inside is cute and stylish, but the food doesn't live up to the hype-- not with so many other less-hyped, less-expensive Peruvian-Chinese places around.
And the pineapple cakes, tasty, but ridiculously expensive. Ridiculously expensive.
Still, always good to hang out with Dr. Bauch, and to catch up with more friends to kick off the New Year.
