Fooding
Starting off the new year with a fooding roundup.
First off, Lonzo's Peruvian for lunch. The arroz con mariscos was a bit soggy, but everything else was pretty good. Fisherman's ceviche (amberjack) in particular was excellent, reminded me very closely of ceviche in Lima so many years ago. The tropical ceviche was nicely sweet with the cantaloupe, although it honestly wasn't the style I usually appreciate. And the lomo saltado met with approval.
The next day, brunch at The Serving Spoon. Some places simply do breakfast right, and The Serving Spoon in Inglewood is definitely one of them.
And wrapping up this gallery with Korean BBQ at Ong Ga Nae. Beef tongue was pretty good although not as good as Xiaolongkan, the king brisket was fatty and delicious. Next time skip the regular bulgogi, a table nearby had the special seng bulgogi which looked waaaaaay better (and that table got three orders of the seng bulgogi o_0 ).
