Last happy hour of the year with coworkers, outdoors at Smog City Brewing for COVID-19 safety. Beers there aren't bad and the food truck they had was perfectly edible-- and a great time as always with the Lee family, Trandreww, plus Joe and Lulu.

Dinner a few hours later at Xiaolongkan. Petula was fiending for hot pot after two weeks of basically no Chinese food, and the hot pot at Xiaolongkan is pretty good. Plus they too have outdoor seating, which is a major plus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Made going inside for the sauce bar/appetizer bar a bit inconvenient, but honestly, a worthy sacrifice in the name of safety.

Wrapped things up with dessert at SweetHoney Dessert down the road. Traditional Hong Kong-style desserts were met with approval from the Hong Kong native.
