The purist-- just pastrami.

Felt a little small, like 80% of the size it should have been. But it was also 80% of the price of its competitors so it balances out?

Coleslaw. Pretty good.

Potato salad. Too many onions.

Pastrami is pretty good but sandwiches are a little small. 80% of the size of their competitors but also only 80% of the price so it's a fair trade?

Coleslaw was solid, and a decent reason to save room for, but the potato salad didn't hold up as well. Just a bit too strong on the onion, strong enough that any other flavors were hard to tell... and the potatoes seemed cooked to the point they could have been mashed potatoes, which seemed a bit over-cooked vs. the usual potato salad? At least the interior was pleasant and reasonably comfortable despite being such a trendy place.
