Surprisingly modern storefront a block off some much less appealing shops.

Not a cheap meal, but it's already presenting itself well.

Submarina: "Hobb's Turkey, Uplands Pleasant Ridge Reserve Cheese, Kenter Wild Arugula, Shredded Gems and Radicchio, Kaylin and Hobbs Kosher Pickles, Pepperoncinis, Schaner Red Onion, County Line Bull's Blood Beet Mayo and Mama Ro's Dried Oregano on Bub and Grandma's Bread. Add Hobb's Pepperoni if you're feeling fierce."

The photo on the website is waaaay prettier. But it's still pretty tasty.

Bolongese was better than usual. Or maybe I was hungry.

Carby meal.

The lunch specials appear to be the usual go-to.

Lady and Larder doesn't mess around with their sandwiches. Flavors are intense but not overwhelming; aka who knew turkey and cheese could be this good??! Their Instagram photos look prettier than reality, but also messier-- reality actually wasn't that bad. Would come back, although it's a bit spendy for a sandwich.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still not fully under control, outdoor dining is still nice to have. Il Forno is pretty so-so mostly, but they've got a large outdoor area and today, their bolongese was actually pretty good. Caprese was also nice, while the Santa Carolina pinot noir was best described as undistinguished.
